CEO Mentoring specialises in the provision of premium mentoring (in confidence) to top CEOs, directors, “C” suite executives, succession targets in organisations, newly promoted executives and new appointees to senior roles.

We deliver our service across the globe in a range of formats driven by the needs of our clients. Although we value face-to-face engagement, many of our mentors and subject matter experts (SMEs) are dispersed around the world. We secure the right expertise and support regardless of its location.

For that reason, our mentors-in-confidence (MICs) and SMEs deliver their services on whatever platform is desired by the client: in-person, by phone, electronically, or on a communication platform that suits the mentor and mentee.

Because we offer global services, we are naturally able to provide our service in multiple languages. We bend to the needs of the client to ensure they get the advice and support when they need it – regardless of the location of the mentor or mentee.

Our MICs and SMEs are senior, very experienced and highly competent – experts in their field. Before we accept a MIC or SME, we go through a rigorous screening, evaluation and reference checking process to ensure that everyone we offer our clients, is what they say they are.

CEO Mentoring Pte Ltd is based in Singapore and is represented around the world. Our representatives are located in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia.

Our Services

Our Mentor–in-Confidence (MIC) service is the highest level of professional mentoring available in the counselling market and is an amalgam of business coach, life coach, executive coach and oracle mentor.

The service provides the CEO, directors and “C” suite executives with confidential advice (hence the name) and technical support in a manner that is ‘invisible’ to the client’s organization and its staff, but with the approval of the board of that organization.

The service can be summarised by the following characteristics:

  • The relationships between the MIC and the client are strictly confidential;
  • The MIC and client sessions are organized at a time, frequency and place to suit both parties;
  • The mentoring sessions can be conducted in-person, by phone, or over a technical platform, such as Skype or similar;
  • The MIC is always contactable by the client for advice or discussion;
  • The MIC helps the client work through specific corporate or personal issues and challenges in a ‘back-room’, strategic and confidential manner;
  • Any suggestions or recommendations that come from a MIC/Client relationship are always seen as the client’s ‘own work’;
  • The MIC can introduce a SME as required by the client. Major projects or assignments that come from the initial discussion between the SME and the client are between the client and the SME;
  • MICs can organize and facilitate intensive confidential workshops to target, solve and brainstorm specific client issues. SMEs may be invited to participate in or lead intensives for a fee;
  • MICs provide one-on-one confidential mentoring of CEOs, directors and “C” suite executives for an annual retainer-based fee paid monthly.

Information for Subject Matter Experts

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a specialist (i.e. expert) in one or more disciplines relating to business and organisations.

The title of “Expert” is one that we determine based on qualifications, experience, achievements and validated testimonials in the SME’s chosen areas of speciality.

We undertake a rigorous process of validating a SME’s credentials before we offer them to our clients.

A MIC can introduce a SME as required by the client. The initial one to two-hour discussion between the SME and the client are commonly free of charge.

The client may wish to engage the SME for a project or assignment following the initial discussion. In such a case, any commercial arrangements are between the SME and client. The initial meeting between the SME and the client are not used to sell the SME’s services to the client, but rather to help the client deal with the issues that brought the SME to the table.

The SME’s provide independent and expert advice to the client. Generally, they present to the client options and an understanding of the implications of those options. They are aware of current thinking on the issues related to their areas of expertise.

MICs can organise and facilitate intensive confidential workshops to target/solve/brainstorm specific client issues. SMEs may be invited to participate in or lead workshops for a fee.
